Vinicius Junior gave the Spaniards the lead at half-time but Leroy Sane levelled eight minutes into the second period.
Harry Kane gave the Germans the lead four minutes later before Vinicius bagged a second to level the tie from the spot.
Bayern Munich defeated Arsenal in the quarterfinals to reach the last four while the Reak Nadrid beat Manchester City.
Bayern’s Bundesliga defence in Germany was ended by Bayer Leverkusen two weeks ago. Madrid are 14 points clear of Girona at the top of LaLiga.
Borussia Dortmund will host Paris Saint-Germain in the other last-four tie on Wednesday.
