Lagos governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has relaxed the 24 hour curfew imposed statewide, even as Meiran-Alagbado axis of the state is still boiling.
Reports said area boys and agberos fought at Alagbado bus stop as people run helter skelter for safety.
Some hoodlums also attempted to burn the Meiran police station but were initially resisted by the people of the area who massed around the station, assisting the policemen on ground.
Other police formations and soldiers of the nearby Nigerian Army Dog Center were later drafted as reinforcement. At this point the people were asked to move away but they still milled around the area of the station
Lagosians are now free to move about from 8am to 6pm from Saturday morning even as the governor promised to review the situation on Sunday.
