Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku returned to Jalingo today after staying away for 87 days. He travelled briefly outside the country since December and returned to Abuja where he received medical treatment for an undisclosed illness.
Ishaku arrived Jalingo at exactly two minutes pass four in a chartered aircraft.
He was received by his deputy, Haruna Manu, top government officials, traditional leaders and supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, at the Dan Baba Suntai Airport, Jalingo.
Ishaku’s supporters and political allies wore customised face caps and T-shirts with his portrait, his arrival will be preceded by a grand reception.
The Peoples Democratic Party had set up a committee to welcome the governor.
