Buhari in Saudi Arabia

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he will be attending the Future Investment Initiative Institute conference.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, stated that the President arrive at about 11.50 pm on Monday.

The President was received at King Khalid International Airport by the Deputy Governor of Riyadh, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Abdulaziz.

“President Buhari, alongside other world leaders, will participate in the opening ceremony of the event on Tuesday and the three-day plenary sessions on the theme for the 5th edition of the summit, “Invest in Humanity,” Shehu said.

Mr. Shehu also added that the president would perform the lesser Hajj in Madinah and Makkah before returning to the country on Friday.

Those accompanying the president on the trip include the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Niyi Adebayo; Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Zubairu Dada.
