Nigerian football star and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has parted ways with his agent Roberto Calenda following the collapse of a potential permanent transfer from Napoli.
The striker has also reportedly demanded a special shirt number from his new club, Galatasaray, should an agreement be reached.
Osimhen who has been seeking a move away from the Italian club, was reportedly frustrated by the failure to secure a deal, leading to his decision to terminate his agent’s contract.
Osimhen was said to be pissed off by Calenda’s incompetence, as he tried to engineer a permanent move away from the Serie A side.
It is believed that the Nigeria international even negotiated his loan move to Galatasaray without an agent.
Osimhen was expected to leave Napoli on deadline day, with Al Ahli and Chelsea trying to complete deals but nothing happened.

Calenda was heavily criticised on social media for messing up the deals.
It is understood that Osimhen employed the help of Turkish intermediary George Gardi, to negotiate with Galatasaray.
The deal is a straight loan until the end of the season, with a break clause in January in the event of top European clubs making a move.
Meanwhile Osimhen has expressed a specific request for a special shirt number no.45 shirt at Galatasaray.
Nigerian broadcast journalist Onyebuchi Onokala, also known as Buchi Laba disclosed that Osimhen has picked a special number to wear.
Laba wrote on X Wednesday morning: “Excl: Victor Osimhen will be wearing number 45 at Galatasaray
“He personally requested for that jersey number cos that was his good-luck number that he wore back at Belgian club Charleroi.”
Osimhen wore the no.9 shirt at Napoli and at his previous club, Lille.
The 26-year-old also wears the no.9 for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
