The crossdresser was invited by the EFCC on Tuesday but turned himself in on Wednesday.

A source at the agency said the crossdresser was captured on video spraying wads of Naira at the premiere of Eniola Ajao’s ‘Beasts of Two Worlds’ movie.

Bobrisky had been in the news in the last few weeks for his infamous ‘Best Dressed Female’ award at the ‘Beast of Two World’ premiere in Lagos and for his spat with Portable.

Lately Nigerians, particularly on social media have been calling for Bobrisky’s arrest, especially after he was controversially awarded the Best Dressed Female at a Nollywood event.

However, spokesperson for the Nigerian Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi opined that certain cases are hard to prove without evidence, and as such, many who cross-dress are often accused of other crimes, and until proof is found, these individuals cannot be kept behind bars.

He further noted that, while there may be charges that those who cross-dress are also members of the LGBTQ community, there is no concrete evidence to back it up, thus they cannot take them to court.
