Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Balogun Eletu, a.k.a Sam Larry, who have been held in detention for weeks in connection with the tragic demise of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as MohBad, have reportedly been granted bail.
The bail conditions necessitate that both Naira Marley and Sam Larry provide three sureties, each of whom must furnish a substantial sum of 20 million naira. These stringent financial guarantees are imposed to secure their release pending further legal proceedings.
Furthermore, the court has mandated that Naira Marley and Sam Larry surrender their international passports. They are also obligated to make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department as part of their bail agreement.
In addition to these conditions, the magistrate presiding over the case issued a stern warning against any attempts to contact her, the magistrate, directly. Any such efforts will be documented and, if necessary, disclosed in open court proceedings.

Recall that the duo of music industry figure had filed a lawsuit against the chief Magistrate and the Police over their detention and demanded N20 million each as damages.
MohBad died on September 12, 2023 and was buried the following day in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The singer’s sudden death generated controversy on the circumstances that surrounded it, with many alleging that Naira Marley and Sam larry had a hand in his death after they fell out.
