AIB begins investigating helicopter crash in Ikeja

Officials of the Accident Investigation Bureau have mobilised to unravel the cause of an accident involving a small aircraft which crashed into a building and burst into flames at Oba Akran Ikeja area of Lagos State.

The incident reportedly happened adjacent AP Filling Station, and United Bank For Africa, Oba Akran, around 3.30pm on Tuesday.

Reports said two of the four passenger’s were injured and taken to the hospital.

It was gathered that the chopper was used for training when it crashed into a building and went up in flames.

The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services confirmed the incident.
