A corps member identified as Bright has died in his sleep at the Osun State National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, orientation camp located at Ede.
The incident occurred on Sunday morning leaving the entire camp community in shock and mourning when he went to bed and didn’t wake up the following morning.
His fellow colleagues at the orientation camp said Bright retired to bed on the night before that fateful morning, seemingly in good health.
However, to their profound dismay, he did not wake up the following day. The sudden and unexpected nature of his passing has left the camp residents grief-stricken and searching for answers.
Lawrence Echezona, a fellow corps member who was present at the camp, recounting the distressing events said: “He slept day before yesterday night and couldn’t wake up in the morning”.
