The Ekiti State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Paul Omotosho has been reportedly kidnapped.
The party chieftain was said to have been whisked away by gunmen who was forcibly removed him from his Toyota Venza car while driving along Agbado-Imesi Ekiti Road Saturday evening.
The APC State Publicity Secretary, Segun Dipe disclosed that the party chairman was abducted while driving in his car along the road when the bandits shot at one of the tyres of the car.
He noted that he was taken into a Toyota Hilux van and driven off, and available information indicated that he was alone in the car when the incident happened.
“It happened in the evening; we got the information at about 6p.m. The security agencies – police and Amotekun – have been alerted, and they are all working on it,” the APC spokesperson said.
