The Anambra State Police Command, has declared Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, leader, Nnamdi Kanu, wanted over the killing of two Police officers.
The State Police Commissioner, John Abang, explained that two police officers were killed when a security team was deployed to arrest Ejiofor in Oraifite, following a complaint of abduction against him.
While declaring Ejiofor wanted, Abang said: “We implore law-abiding Nigerians from North, South East or West who have information about this man to report to the nearest police station.
He further disclosed that some members of IPOB attacked, killed two policemen and burnt their vehicle.
The Police Commissioner said: “He is a member of the proscribed IPOB, and he is wanted in connection with the killing of two policemen. We implore anyone who has information on him to report to us”.
