Kwara gov. gets pat on the back

by CredibleNews

Muslim cleric, Sheikh Habeebulaah Adam el-ilory has praised the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for being ‘magnanimous with power’.

The cleric said the governor’s resolve to unite the people and not pursue vendetta against political adversaries is a display of the large heart for which his father and community leader, Abdul-Ganiyu Folorunsho AbdulRazaq, SAN, is known.

“We pray that Allah will make your reign peaceful and beneficial to the people of Kwara who have suffered untold hardship in the past,” Sheikh el-ilory said during a congratulatory visit to the governor and his family in Ilorin.

“All Kwara people are orphans and it is your duty to take care for them as Allah has commanded. We urge you to continue along the path of peace. We also urge you to avoid the banana peels from the old regime.

“Some often destroy and corrupt the earth with whatever power they have. But when you got power, you overlooked people’s excesses to get things done. People often take after their parents/progenitors. We are not surprised at your magnanimity with power. You are known to be a good and generous person. We urge you to continue along that path and you will succeed by God’s grace.

“We are all orphans and you are a father to all. Be good to all. Once you do that, you are being grateful to God, the cleric advised.
